Locking an Operation to a Work Centre

Locking an Operation to a Work Centre

You can restrict an operation to a specific work centre by enabling the “Lock operation to work centre” option. This option can be found under the Quality tab of the operation within the Drawing Register module.

To ensure this restriction is consistently enforced, it is recommended to enable the global setting:

  1. From the Main Menu Navigate to Setup > Maintenance > Defaults
  2. Open the Data Collection tab
  3. Tick “Enforce Work Centre Lock”

Enabling this option prevents operators from booking jobs onto any work centre other than the one originally scheduled through Data Collection.
