  1. From the RedAnt main menu, go to:
    Maintenance → Setup → Defaults
  2. Select the General tab.
  3. In the bottom-right corner, locate the Financial Link dropdown.
  4. Note the selected value (e.g. Sage 50 or Sage 50 V11+).
  5. Close the Defaults window.

Start the Import in Sage

  1. Open Sage.
  2. Select File → Import.
  3. Create a backup if required, then click Next.
  4. Select Audit Trail Transactions, then click Next.
  5. Choose Comma Separated File (CSV).
  6. Browse to your exported RedAnt file and click Next.

Configure Field Mapping

You will now see the mapping screen where RedAnt fields are matched to Sage fields.

  • Use the Financial Link version you identified earlier to determine how many fields to map:

    • Sage 50 → Map fields A to J
    • Sage 50 V11+ → Map fields A to M

Mapping Instructions:

  • In the Imported Field column:
    • Assign A to the first field
    • Assign B to the second field
    • Continue sequentially through the alphabet
    • Stop at the appropriate letter based on your Sage version

Example:

  • If using Sage 50, stop at J
  • If using Sage 50 V11+, continue to M (User Name)

Save the Mapping (Optional)

  • Click Save Map to store your configuration for future use.
  • Once a successful import is completed, Sage will remember your mapping settings automatically.
